Alli's Family Restaurant

Delicious food, so much food, at great prices!!! You can tell the owners take pride as everything was cooked to perfection. A hidden gem for sure. Also the fried chicken strips... Oh my goodness!! Hands down the best HOMEMADE chicken ever. Best HOMEMADE cooking in all of Springfield. This place is not talked about enough. It is a bit of an old building not in the best of location but so worth our drive from republic and my 2yr old went crazy over it all. I'm so happy I now know of this places existence. Golden corral, Cracker Barrel, and all the other mom and pop places could learn so much from Alli's. Wish I could give 10 stars. And seriously could go on forever as I was really so impressed. I love to cook and come from a great family of good cooks so finding a good restaurant is rare for us as we rarely find a place worth the money if we can do it better at home. We felt a bit sketchy when we pulled in but figured what the hell, they gave us two menus and I was like dang it and we still said what the heck we'll give it a whirl and then they brought us the foo and seriously we was blown away. Okay good rant over! If ya haven't ate there do so!! We will again for sure.

Have been here several times. Always enjoyed. This is an excellent restaurant. This is a no frills place with great food.

I give it 5 stars because although it is a older cafe it does a great job with what they own. Your coffee cup is topped off every few minutes, friendly waitress always available. Large portions of food. The breakfast special can’t be beat at $3.99 you get eggs anyway, a meat choice, pancakes, or toast or biscuits, hash browns or fries. This place reminds me of the type of small family cafes I ate at as a kid in the 60’s. Not fancy but cozy.
