Chameleon Cuisine

Oh, you know. When you feel like eating out, but you really want to try something new, but you really DON'T want to try something new because of your previous "Let's Try Something NEW!" mishaps, but you really, honestly want to try something new? This is one of those places. Decor is super bright and cheery, the staff (chef included) is friendly and helpful (Me: "What's jackfruit?" Unsuspecting Chameleon Staff Guy: *pieces together a description, itself not unlike a verbal chameleon*), and the food hit all the checkmarks for a Monday evening.

Creative and delicious food. I had lobster tacos, truffle fries and chameleon tacos. Everything tasted great. The decor is nice and service was quick as well. Next time I'm in Springfield I will definitely be back!

PS: there are plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu

This is such a cute little place downtown with delicious food. They have multiple vegetarian options that can easily be made vegan (for this reason alone I wish I could give them more than 5 stars) but they also have meat options as well. Also the customer service is always so great. The gentleman up front is such a kind human who seems to genuinely enjoy what he does and he really wants you to enjoy your experience as well and it shows! Love this place and highly recommend!
