Never gave side sauces asked for... They do this quite frequently at the drive up.. If pick up inside you will receive excellent care... At drive up..This time cashew chicken was completely different. No gravy. Taste still very good tho..

I wasn't impressed with my cashew chicken dinner special. The hot and sour soup tasted like cashew chicken sauce with a few veggies in it. Since the sauce wasn't that great any way, that was not a good thing. Didn't care for the egg roll. The dipping sauce tasted funny. Cashew chicken was tough and dry. I liked the rice a lot tho. I've had that meal in a lot of places around Springfield , they were all better and less expensive.

This is my favorite Asian food restaurant to eat at. We used to eat at it when we were in college. At that time it was called Gees East Wind. That was back in the early '70s. The food is still amazing all these years later even though it was taken over by a family member after the owner passed. Nothing about the quality of the food diminished nor the flavor. If you like cashew chicken I have never found anyone make it like they do it's fabulous!

Others try to copy, but Leong's cashew chicken is the original and still the best. The oyster sauce is delicious and chicken pieces are nicely uniform in size. It comes with fried rice, which I think is much better than plain white. I also had an egg roll with the lunch special. Everything was so tasty and the presentation was nice. You could tell they care what the food looks like on the plate. I enjoyed the whole experience.
