Swirly's Ice Cream & Waffles

Swirly’s is an awesomely unique establishment that offers some amazing sweet products! They make their bubble waffles fresh and I was so impressed with their menu! Pictured below is both Freshman Cups with The Starting Quarterback on the left and The Drop Out on the right. Each bite was an amazing unique experience and I have now found my new favorite dessert home. I would give this place a solid overall 10/10 with customer service being by far one of the best experiences in Springfield. If you’re looking for something sweet and new to try this is by far your place. I promise it won’t be your only time! 😁

Excellent! The bubble waffle was way crispier than I expected it to be and the ice cream was tasty. I loved the nice tables and good music. Great atmosphere for a food truck. The guy was very nice too and directed me to a smaller size knowing I was ordering too much the first time I tried it. I can't wait to take my kids!

I’m a travel RN and one of the benefits is trying new places where ever I go. I came upon this place searching for ice cream shops in Springfield. Saw that it had great reviews and decided to try it. Took my girlfriend here and I believe she chose The Teachers Pet and I chose The Homeschooler. I loved it and the girlfriend loved it. Now the not so bad downside. The serving sizes are very generous and they will send you with a lid to cover if you can not finish it all in one go which was super helpful. The staff was awesome. The owner was great! 10/10 would recommend.

Had one of the best shakes of my life here (sweet potato pie). They also had several add ons that my wife and myself haven't been able to find at other stores (marshmallow cream being her favorite). 10/10 will be ordering again.

I've been FB stalking them for WEEKS & keep forgetting to stop by until I literally passed it on S Campbell then turned right away into the parking lot, not missing out on the opportunity. My kids already had ice cream so this was my chance to try it all by myself - selfish, I know! But of course, they wouldn't let me have that chance & they just wanted double the ice cream - sneaky spoiled little punks!
Don't let this little unassuming food truck trick you into thinking this is just an ordinary ice cream truck. Nope. Not. Even. It has signature combos and BUBBLE WAFFLES!!!
Super helpful & welcoming staff who will most absolutely walk you thru the process. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu & can make your own combos. We tried the Drop Out, the Emo Girl & the Dream Girl - all were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! The ice cream flavors were out of this world & the waffles were crispy but still soft, warm with a hint of cinnamon flavor. I told the kids I'd be back for breakfast ice cream 🤣
We will most DEFINITELY be back for another round of treats!
