“From the appetizers to the main dish everything was tasty and delicious it didn’t feel heavy neither felt too salty or with alot of condiments it was very good is is very pleasant for cold weather the pork was very soft and delicious the mozzarella surprised us with the asparagus but it’s actually very delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy but not hard you have to try them out can’t explain it much. Did not try any sushi but they looked very good can’t wait to go back and try sushi next.”

“The dining room was very clean and the decor was simple and elegant. The wife and I both ordered salad with our dinner the salad came out the same time as the dinner it had Saran wrap on top of it. I took one bite and it was very bitter and I looked at the salad and it was brown. When my lettuce at home gets that brown I throw it away should not have been served. My wife had Monte Cristo sandwich as it was good but was surprised to it see that it had cinnamon on it. The highlight of the dinner was the country fried steak or chicken fried steak it's on the menu two different places same just makes a difference if you order breakfast or dinner. Country fried steak was tender and tasty mashed potatoes seem to be real and the grave was good and I also had golden hominy. I got a feeling they specialize in breakfast items. Also I noticed the prices on the menu was very very reasonable I would go back to this place again I just don't think I'd order a salad. Should have been excellent the first time you charge us 5.50 a salad that's $11 for food we could not eat we could eat. If that's what you call an inconvenience.”

“I decided to try Beef-A-Roo for lunch. Not knowing anything about the chain, I tried the suggested Roast Beef, Fries, and Soda combo. It was priced nicely and was pretty good. The chain originated in Illinois and the Springfield location is the first in Missouri. Their prices on shakes seems a bit high, but I didn't try one so I'll leave it to my next trip to see if it's worth it.”

“This restaurant is so incredibly wonderful. I would like to begin with the fact that their food is delicious. They have lots of options and all of them are great. Not only that, but the presentation of the food is gorgeous. The orange chicken was topped with an adorable orange slice and a sprig of cilantro. Most importantly their staff is incredibly nice. I have never been unsatisfied with their service. They are always polite and make the environment feel like a home.”

“Everything was good except the waiter. The food as always was amazing but everything we asked the waiter he stated no. For example if they had the stuff to make a specific martini we were told no then a women at the table next to me ordered it and got it. The waiter blew us off and I had to go get another drink menu from the hostess. AI have $10 in cash in tip and $10 on a card the waiter then added $20 more to the tip on the card leaving him with a total of $40 in tip. As much as I love the food and as many times as I have been I probably won't go back. Q”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. The food portions were huge. With 2 truck drivers in the family, that's always a good thing. The chicken sandwich was amazing with the melted cheese and sausage gravy, added jalapenos and cheese to the home fries. The 2 guys had the big breakfast which is the other 2 photos, plus one plate sized pancake added on. Overall everything was delicious. Will definitely return! 👍 👍”

“We've been going to Rib Crib for years, but this was our first visit to S. Glenstone. We arrived at straight up noon and they were only a few customers dining. It was obvious they weren't fully staffed. The chicken nachos were wonderful. The ribs were juicy and tender, but barely warm, as were the sides. Brooke our waitress was the highlight of the visit, she did a great job!”

“The wife and I stopped in for lunch. The dining room was very obviously being diligently sanitized. The staff was friendly and attentive. They all properly masked (no chin diapers) and legitimately seemed to be spacing parties out with intent. The food was good, if a bit heavy on the salt. The price was a bit higher than I would have liked, but we certainly left with full stomachs an a doggy bag to boot.”
