The place is great, friendly, laid back. I had the chocolate chips scone, it was delicious, the MJT is also great. Drip coffee with 2 shots of espresso. Highly recommend, if you like really strong coffee.

My wife totally digs the Chai Latte here. 10/40 has a Chai Latte and a Dirty Chai Latte option. The regular is just tea, and the Dirty has espresso in it. Good job 10/40. I generally get the Americano and dig it just fine. Their coffee is good, they know what they are doing, but I'm not to sure about the hours. Apparently they've extended the hours, but I think a coffee shop should open at 6 or 630 am. That's my opinion anyway. This shop has stayed consistent among the closings and differing owners. If there is one thing I truly appreciate about restaurants, cafes, shops and the like, it's consistency. That, and the ability to do the thing they emphasize exceedingly well. If you make a mean Chai Latte but run out of the thing that makes it special, you don't use some half-"hearted" bag you bought at the Walmarts. And you know what? 10/40 was out of their Chai Latte yesterday much to the disappointment of my wife, and they didn't try to use the bagged stuff they had in a drawer. She got a London Fog instead. She said it was okay. I had a Pumpkin Spice Macchiato. It was great, and my youngest finished it off and also thought it was delicious.

10/40 also does pastries, of which I tried. The server said they were all created by a local person/shop. It also was okay. From their FB site, it looks like they do soups too. You can sit at a nice table or couch and get some work done. Good atmosphere, good coffee. I'll have to visit more often, if I remember when they are open. Semi-regular visits from me. We'll have to get in on some of their soup action. Wife would have given this a 5 if they had what she wanted, I as well, if the pastries didn't seem older than they looked.

Their coffee is really good, and the shop carries a Christian atmosphere. Their baked items and soups are tasty, too. The sandwiches are okay in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for something Subway style or Panera fancy. It's a great place to unwind with a good cup of coffee, read a book, or get some studying done.

Great coffee and very nice staff. There was only one gal working on the Saturday morning we went and there was a long wait but I didn't mind. Got to just sit with my girlfriend and enjoy the time. The girl working got everyones drinks right including ours which to me would be a very hard thing to do working alone. Will definitely be back.

Found this establishment by accident and decided to check it out because my wife loves espresso and there's NO Starbucks south of Springfield. This is a very nice, quaint place, open, and airy, we loved the open face brick and old tin ceiling and dark wood-stained tables.
Had the chicken salad sandwiches and the tomato basil and broccoli cheddar soups. Very delicious repast. Highly recommend this place if you're in the County/ Courthouse area of West Plains Missouri. If we're in the area, we'll be sure to stop in again...❤👍
