    I hadn't been here in a while. I had the shrimp and chicken which was good. I also had a fairly new item, Seafood Gumbo. It wasn't that good. Unless you factor in the laxative effect then it was great! LOL! Yes, I'm not joking...

    The covid-19 has definitely impacted all the restaurant business but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the awesome (I'll even say it again) awesome sit down service and courtesy from the staff. Restaurant was super clean, and the staff were exceptionally nice and courteous and willing to make your stay the most pleasant, and of course the food is good and reasonably priced.

    We always love the easy, change of pace fast food of Captain D's in West Plains, Mo. Coming up from Arkansas we seldom miss a chance eating there, relaxing, no hassle, great food at very reasonable prices. Clean restaurant with great location.....I never intentionally rate fast food over 4 so it tops out in my league.

    This is the best Captain D's I've been to. The food is cooked right. It comes hot to the table.
