Englewood Cafe

Forgot about this place until last year. Took the wife for her first time a couple days ago.
The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is mostly cosmetic. And they had some kitchen issues while we were there. Obviously they (wait staff) were watching the quality so that’s good but it was a lot of drama.
Don’t judge the outside appearance before you try the food.
Giant tenderloin is great, bug but not too big to eat. Burgers are good. Breakfast all day. Every thing breakfast is good. Daily specials and lots of pIe!

Loved this place. Just a great place for good food and friendly staff. My definition of the perfect “greasy spoon”. We came for breakfast and were in a bit of a hurry. Our waitress took care of us pronto! Try the chicken fried steak!

Absolutely loved the "small town" feeling diner. Our waitress, Cassi, was fantastic. Huge portions of delicious food at very decent prices. Sweet tea was nice and strong, as it should be! Checked out the nay sayers below, and per their other reviews, they mostly appear to be unhappy with most everyone. So, I would take those reviews with a grain of salt.

This place is great for a home cooked meal. The food was tasty and the staff very friendly. It seems like they had lots of regulars. I heard the waitress asking the table next to us how there family was like they were old friends.

So glad mugs-up diner was closed. This spot here is a Gem. The staff is super friendly. If you're a local they'll remember your name a great you and have your favorite meal whipped up in a hurry. The grilled chicken sandwich was juicy and had wonderful flavor
