LC's Bar-B-Q

Everyone knows that Kansas City Missouri is known for it's BBQ, and LC's is the best place to go. I have been going there since I was a kid, and every time it hits the spot. Their meat is always on point and their fries are just divine. The service is great and the people are friendly. You'll always feel welcome when you come in. I highly recommend this to people who haven't tried Kansas City's BBQ, you are going to be blown away when you try this.

Just tried this place for the first time. Carryout. Had the rib tips and fries. Grabbed a bottle of sauce too. Fantastic. Big portion. I never thought it would happen, But this place has dethroned Gate's as my new favorite. No frills, just great meat.

That was the most amazing BBQ we have ever had! I'm originally from Lower Alabama and have grown up in southern BBQ and all of the sides that come with it, but nothing like this. The fat melts in your mouth, the meat is supple and moist, the sauce is perfect. Not too sweet perfect amount of tang. The baked beans were full of meat and perfectly cooked. The potato salad is definitely homemade. The staff were incredible! 4 people working the smallest kitchen ever and so efficient. We will be driving back from CO for more food in the future.

I really enjoyed the smokiness of the meat. I ate an early lunch here before going for a hike at Swope Park. I could taste the smoke for hours after eating. In the evening I could still taste it. Even when I burped, it tasted like bbq. I don't remember the last time I had a flavor linger that long. It was a delicious flavor too. The amount of food I got was more than I could eat. Burnt ends, two pieces of bread, and some baked beans. The price was a little higher than I think it should have been, but I was satisfied with what I received. Stop by for a bite.
