Fareway Meat Market & McGonigle's KC BBQ

McGonigle's catered my wedding and everyone raved about the food! We are still getting compliments on our BBQ dinner and that makes me so happy because food was one of our most valued vendors and the Market came highly recommended.

Our point of contact insisted he could help us with 10 vegan meals for our guests, but unfortunately he left about a month before our wedding and the person we spoke to (2 days before) told us the most they could do was a vegetarian pasta that still had cheese in it. The one less star is just because we had to scramble to provide vegan meals to our guests the night of our wedding and it was something we didn't want to be stressed about.

Otherwise, we had plenty of leftovers, it was extremely affordable, and everyone was kind and efficient.

Great meat market with wonderful BBQ options prepared fresh daily. Try their combo sandwich (pulled pork and smoked brisket), a generous helping of delicious BBQ with either sweet or spicy sauce. Delicious! This is also a great place to get specialty meats.

The store has tons of meats/ cheeses/ fish you name it! Plus alcohol! Very good prices with a lot of verity to choose from!

I recommend the burnt end sandwich with sweet sauce (blues hog) and the mcgoo fries!! Top 5 bbq stops in kc for sure.
