Plowboys Barbeque

When I say average I mean good enough BBQ to eat. There are some that are completely inedible. The ribs are kind of on the dry side. It is delicious though. Love the sauce as well. The brisket is also good. same with the pulled pork. The mac and cheese and potato salad are standard. This is a take out order and when we got there food wasn't ready as they ran out of ribs. So we had to wait for 15 more minutes. We have a dog with us and they allowed us to come in to wait. Not sure if that was an exception or the rule.

This place was phenomenal! I still talk about it to this day! If you want some great Kansas City BBQ, come here! Staff was friendly and quick, and all their meat and sides were amazing! I ate here 5 times during my 1 week visit. If I could rate 10 stars, I would.

They tried real hard. Loved the people there and the service I was provided. Super nice. That said, I felt everything, except the pulled pork, was a bit on the dry side; this was even when they pulled a new brisket from the uprights as opposed to what was in the warmer. Perhaps there fact that I went there at 6 pm played a roll I don't know. Their KC BBQ was super good -to the point that I slathered everything in it. I also really enjoyed their pickles. Probably not a reason to visit, but man, I love me a good pickle.

TLDR: I don't regret going here, but once was probably enough

Always enjoy plowboys, have been coming here for lunch for years. I was originally introduced to this place when i started working on Kansas City and now we take new team members here for lunch. I usually get a sandwich and french fries, the portions are very good for the price
