(March 14, 2020, 4:27 am)My first time here and the lady who helped and served us was AMAZING PHENOMENAL customer service ,the place was very clean right on the East side of KC a hidden gem they take pride in their restaurant and customers you can tell how its operated and'the cocktails were good will be back to try the jerk salad and some dessert ????????think this will be my new go to.!!!

(November 24, 2019, 7:13 pm)This place has all of the energy of Jamaica! The customer service is outstanding; atmosphere is welcoming. The food is very delicious, delightful flavor indeed. Sankofa Cafe has become the number one eatery for my "once a month " treat of dining out!

Literally the best friend plantains I've ever had. The food is amazing the, the owners are amazing, do yourself a favor and go grab some food and enjoy the music.
