This is the best breakfast/brunch downtown and among a few contenders for the best in the city/metro.

They take great care to use local ingredients when possible and the coffee is coffeehouse quality.

We stopped in yesterday on our way to the river market. First time here and a great tasting, fresh brunch. Hotcakes we’re so good and flavorful.

Anyone who has anything negative to say about this place probably wouldn’t have a good time anywhere. Wonderful atmosphere, clean and professional service. Fantastic food and drinks. We love the homemade spicy bloody Mary’s! No horseradish and no BBQ just the way we like them! Also love that this is owned and ran by chef’s and you can tell that in their dishes that they provide a thoughtfulness to flavor and texture that most restaurants don’t understand. We can’t wait to try their sister location that serves dinner in KCK!

Deeelicious and great service! Went there for brunch and of course had the bottomless mimosas! We tried the chicken and waffles, french toast and scrambled eggs. The food was perfect. The eggs were light and fluffy. We will be going back. We were able to walk over to the city market after. It made for a great afternoon!

Warm and friendly cafe run by great people and serving fan-tas-tic food! I had fried green tomatoes for the first time ever and they were really tasty and filling. Also had a gigantic warm cinnamon bun with mountains of sweet frosting. Totally excellent! They also have a bar with lots of offerings, if you're so inclined. Very nice place!
