I had the shrimp and grits and it was really good! They did not shy on the shrimp okaaay! I also had the raspberry donuts bites and they were a great appetizer to have before my entree. The service was good too. I can’t remember my waiters name but he was great!!!
It was a great day to sit on the patio and enjoy a meal. They have a patio street side and on in the alley next to the building. Nice atmosphere!
The food was on point. Had the Mississippi catfish which was cooked perfectly. Tender inside and crisp breading. It went well with the sweet potato fries and slaw.
The Nashville hot chicken wings were excellent and had a great kick to them.
The impossible burger was a hit if you're looking for a vegetarian dish.
Family brunch on Saturday morning. The location is conveniently located, atmosphere is really good, very busy, good service and really good food. Everything we had was tasty but I would say the sauce for the shrimp & grits was a bit salty and the “creole gravy” for the biscuits wasn’t a crowd favorite (just not a preferred flavor profile). We would highly recommend to go.
Yet another lee's summit restaurant coming to Kansas City midtown in a big way! We wanted to try some place different for the begining of restaurant week and I found the third street social on the list of new participants. The whole experience was fantastic! From the lively crowd to the professional staff and memorable food and everything in between. Conveniently located at 50th and main street just south of the plaza makes it easy to find. Lots of free parking with a covered garage right across the street as well as their own off street parking lot to the north. We both had steak and mushroom soup and it alone was worth the price of admission. My wife loved the fried chicken and I demolished the shrimp and cheese grits. The breakfast menu looked excellent and we are certain to return soon. Our waiter , Brennan was quite professional , knowledgeable and helpful with out hovering. He earned the 5th ⭐. Thank you for a great experience!
I had the Classic Breakfast during brunch. There was a Chief's game on so the place was pretty . From placing my order to delivery of my food it took a mere 17 minutes. I was impressed by their efficiency and the presentation of my comestibles!
My 3 🥚 🥚 🥚 were so fluffy and 🧈. My 🥓 was thick, crispy, and had a beautiful sheen to it. It was very delicious. The sausage was large, juicy, and had a bit of spice to it, 😋. The fried 🥔 were a work of art, crispy but not brittle, well seasoned but not salty, and golden brown. The cheddar biscuit was large, flaky, fluffy and flavorful.
The place was teeming with people but I felt safely distanced. The servers were rushed off their feet but still managed to be cordial and accommodating. I had a great time. I ordered key lime 🍰 to go and it was tasty as well.
