Love this place! We moved to KC and this was one of the first pizza places we tried and is delish. We've had both regular and thin crust, and while I prefer thin crust usually, their regular is my favorite. It's not very crispy but is really tasty and all of the ingredients taste super fresh. They offer contact free delivery which has been excellent during the pandemic. We're excited to try other pies and sammies from them :)
I only took carry out yesterday. But I've been to Waldo Pizza many times. Service is usually good. We used to go to the lunch buffet all of the time. I prefer the thin crust for the cheese they use, but I like all of crusts, though. I got the Local Pig specialty pizza this time and it's great. They have a great beer selection.
Excellent service and food. The salad bar is stacked with house made dressing. They have a full Vegan menu with sandwiches pizza and pasta. The best pizza in KC
We have eaten at Waldo Pizza for over a decade. Each year, we schedule a large family gathering and Waldo makes this a wonderful experience. We call about a week in advance and speak with a reservation specialist. We scheduled at a slower time for the restaurant and they set an entire section up for us. The service was incredible, as always, and the food was even better. I cannot recommend Waldo enough!
Since moving to KC I’ve had a hard time finding great pizza, but Waldo’s Pizza is pretty good. Tonight I got a pepperoni on their regular crust. Sauce, cheese, and pepperoni all excellent. The crust isn’t my favorite type of crust but it’s still great. It’s soft, more bread like and dense with a pale bottom (not at all crispy), with nice bubbling around the edges. Filling and delicious. If you eat in store, the place has a nice 80’s pizza joint vibe, and a buffet. Great selection of other pasta, salad, and sub items.
