(May 22, 2020, 1:28 am)This is one of those places that when they're gone they're gone. This is Americana. I grew up in Lees Summit, class of 81. I always get a tenderloin with lots of pickles and onion rings. Fantastic!

(March 27, 2020, 2:16 pm)One of my favorite locals. They have great shakes, limeades, insane burgers and sandwiches. Plus, a plethora of other sides so you can scratch whatever itch you might have for the day. Seating isn't much, but if you catch them when they aren't busy, they have great service. Old fashioned, kind of like Spangles, but THIS place just tastes better.

(October 27, 2019, 2:10 pm)Hadn't eaten here in almost 20 years. It was exactly the way I remembered it. Food was perfect, staff was as friendly as ever. I lived in Lee's Summit for 14 years and this was one of my favorite restaurants to eat at! Loved it!!! I even bought a Johnny Rays tee shirt!!
