THE Pizza Place

Loved all the vegan pizza and food options! (Ask for the vegan menu.) They have 3 types of vegan cheese. Their original crust is vegan and delicious! My husband and I had the cheesy garlic breadstick appetizer, and shared a medium vegan cheeseburger pizza (soooo good - the dill pickles on it were perfect!). The vegan brownie is from a local baker, and was rich and gooey and wonderful! We will definitely go back. Only an 11 min drive from the Independence Ice Rink.

Heard good things about The Pizza Place so we decided to give it a shot. The place was very clean and decorated with a lot of framed smaller movie posters (80's & 90's). Table was clean as well as the floor...most places don't bother with the details. The pizza was good, I wouldn't say great but good.

The only complaint is this place is EXPENSIVE for what you actually get. We had a med beef with black olives and mushrooms on 1/2 and it was a hair under $20. I think they charge you full coverage for extra toppings even though it's only on 1/2. A large one topping at another place will run around $6.99-$8.99, it's $20 here. Either way, value isn't there for what you get.

Now the service is A+ and the place is well staffed, possibly over staffed with a lot of employees. The manager or owner (Jim?) tends to hover around and interact with your kids a little more than what seems normal, nice guy, friendly and witty just needs to limit the kid time some. Shout out to our server Shania, fantastic job!

Today was my birthday so I wanted to try this place. I read so many good reviews so we ordered carry out. The combination pizza and garlic cheese sticks were amazing! Fresh, real ingredients! I think I have a new favorite pizza place! Can’t wait to come in and try the salad and pizza buffet! Thanks for making my Birthday dinner a great one!

Great casual dining & wonderful staff makes for an excellent experience.

I tried the combination pizza and it was amazing!
The toppings were great and the flavors were really good!

This was our first time trying THE Pizza Place. I am going to go back and try the combination because I wasn't impressed by the meats but did enjoy the thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. I will go back for a second chance and to try a different pizza flavor.
