Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. Eclectic, contemporary offerings. Courteous, prompt service beginning to end. My new Joplin favorite.

The food was great, the service was amazing, and the beer selection is top notch! Our bartender had wonderful drink recommendations to pair with our food. We lucked out and they had donuts the day of our visit. We were able to have our Beast Burgers with donut buns! If you get the opportunity don't miss out!

Oh my goodness!!! So happy we went there. We were pretty upset that the previous eagle in restaurant had shut down. But came to the newer one and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Calamari 10/10. Sauce 10/10. Steak special 10/10. The bread pudding. 10000/10. It is by far the absolute best dessert I have every had. Topped all the delicious bread puddings I have ever tried. The most delicious thing in the entire world. Please for the love of GAWD get the bread pudding. Only complaints I had, and they were stupid small ones The kids pizza was good to me but as a kids meal maybe rosemary was not the best way to go as it's not a flavor kids usually enjoy too much. Also the veggies side was good but a little less seasoning and a dab of some oil or butter to help make it not so dry would have really brought this to it's fullest potential. Server was phenomenal. Wish I could have remembered his name. Owner was super great. We will definitely be back on our usual Joplin trips!

Jake is an excellent host with a true gift for hospitality.
The food was great, the beer selection is huge and the cocktails are divine.
I will certainly be back the next time business brings me to Joplin.

Superb Sunday brunch with a great vibe - a pleasant surprise. My daughter, who recently moved to Joplin, suggested we head to Beast & Barrel for lunch. She had been here once before and had an impressive dinner. Not expecting a brunch menu, we both were pleased with the mimosa options and ordered from the omelette portion of the menu. The food was timely and excellent, and the service was pleasant, prompt, and helpful. We both commented about how fortunate Joplin was to have such a unique, classy restaurant. I definitely recommend you head over to the Beast & Barrel!
