Babe's Drive In

Small town gem! Vast diner menu. Family ordered a mix of everything and it was all really good. The real star of the show was the spaghetti. It's NOT what I was expecting at all. It is spaghetti noodles, covered with chili and topped with dill pickles and diced onions. The first thing I did was scrape off the pickles. About 2 bites in, I decided I should at least try it the way it was prepared. Just one bite with the pickles and onions and my mind was BLOWN. I have no idea how it could be so delicious. It makes no sense. All I'm saying is that Babe's knows what's up.

We've been eating here for decades whenever we visit Joplin. The burgers and onion rings are excellent. The restaurant itself may be a bit on the shabby side, but they have installed new booths within the last several years. You'll never be disappointed with the food, though. Give it a try if you love a good, juicy burger and handmade onion rings/strings.

I've always liked Babe's. While it may take a few minutes longer to get your food than typical fast food, Babe's has always been anything but typical. You definitely get portions worth more than the price, it's good flavor every time.
Another advantage, they don't serve only burgers and shakes.

Best burger place in the Joplin/Webb City area. The prices are great, the servings are large, and the service is wonderful. It is a small little place but I simple love all the neon lights. It reminds me of an old soda/burger joint. If you are ever in the area and want a good burger this is the place to go!
To add to that the burgers are always cooked to perfection. And they have like 8-10 different sides. They do kids meals also. Oh! They don't just have burgers either.
