Great place to eat, with a variety of sushi rolls. Definitely enjoyed my meal here. Only downside was both rolls had too much sauce on them for my tastes.
This place has a very reasonable lunch hibachi grill experience. Chicken is only $8 or $9! You get the whole show and the only downside is being crammed into those little square table sitting next to someone you don't know. LoL! But quality of food is very good and the place is very friendly. What a fun place to eat too. Getting to watch them cook the food right in front of you and hear their nice quirky jokes is a hilariously fun time!
This is a really nice place to eat, with a fun environment! I have eaten at this particular Japanese Steak House several times and have never been disappointed. The service is always good as well as the food. The staff is always friendly and quick to refill your drinks and the cooks do an excellent job keeping you entertained, especially if you have young kids. On my last visit here, our cook noticed that my drink was getting low and a waitress had not come by recently and he made sure to flag her down and refill by drink. Keep in mind that each section seats around 9 people, so if you have a small group, they might wait a little bit to try and fill the rest of the seats in your section. So, if you are seated but they don’t start cooking right away, this is nothing out of the ordinary.
My first visit to this particular Japanese steakhouse. I have been to several similar restaurants throughout the country and this one in Joplin ranks with the top best. Very attentive servers, very fine food well prepared and a pleasant atmosphere. On a very busy Sunday we only had a 5 minute wait. A very satisfying dining experience.
Their sushi and hibachi are delicious; the hibachi grill is entertaining for the new comers, and is enjoyable for the frequenters. Service is excellent, and their bar has a large selection of alcoholic beverages (Note: at the time of writing this, the bar was closed for renovation, and only offered bottled beers.) You can sit at the hibachi grill (full experience), sit at a table (still can order hot food, traditional restaurant experience), or sit at the sushi bar (sushi only, made by a Master Sushi Chef right in front of you... It's Delicious!). I strongly suggest their Sukiyaki Steak for the hibachi, great food at a great price, and the MomaMia sushi roll is to die for... Also, it's on fire.
