Some of the best smoked meat i've ever had. We drive 60 miles just to eat there. We love this place!!

My husband and I drove to Boomer's BBQ and Cafe. The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. However, we were a bit disappointed in the food. My onion rings were just warm and the meat was okay but not wonderful.

We have been there now 3 times and it is definitely our go to place when in Carthage. This last time was specifically to go to this place. The meats, especially the Brisket, has been spot on each time..... PERFECTLY smoked that it definitely can be a flavorful enjoyment without any sauce. If you decide to add a little, they are merely icing on the cake.

I cry to think that some people could have any kind of less than spectacular experience. We have been blessed each time.

For my fellow Veterans, yes there is a discount and they all will proudly thank you.

Their table service is great too! Both the Duty Manager and at least 2 sometimes 3 different crew people come out to check on you and offer to refill beverages and they did a great job keeping tables clean especially how many people filtered thru.
