A&W Restaurant

It’s hard to believe that the zero sugar root beer is sugar free, it’s fantastic! Everything that I’ve ordered has been delicious, I’ve been there every day that they’ve been open. I just love that it’s so close to my house. I can’t believe some of the negative reviews! What do people expect from a new restaurant in the area. They have new employees but on top of that the sheer volume of business that they do is unbelievable. I haven’t been there one day where it wasn’t packed inside and the drive through wasn’t out to the street. I’m sure that the newness will wear off somewhat and things will get better but I’m fine the way it is. Show me one fast food restaurant that’s perfect. I’ve been there so much it’s crazy and I haven’t had one problem. I can honestly say though that the last time I was there I waited in line inside for 30 minutes but I’m okay with that. My food came within five minutes after ordering. It’s busy for a reason, when some of the impatient customers start going elsewhere it will be a lot better.

Food was great, employees were too. Nice to have choices besides burgers and chicken! Mini corn dogs, fried cheese curds, rootbeer float all yum!

Decided to go here on day two, right at the end of the lunch rush. Only took a few minutes to order at the counter, and waited only a few minutes for a table to open up. They probably could add a table or two, but I really like the outdoor seating. I was given a iced cold mug to put the root beer in. Let me tell you, it makes it taste so much better!.

Once seated we only waited maybe 5 minutes for our order. I must admit I have never had a burger from A&W (I usually just order their corn dog nuggets). My double bacon cheese burger was super fresh from the meat to the toppings.

Our entire order was correct, which I was not sure to expect with a new restaurant. The only issue I had was the corn dog nuggets were luke-warm. My guess is that they were not made fresh and maybe just have them ready for orders to speed things up. My family will be back!
