Listen people, we’re talking High Ridge here. We’re not talking about downtown Manhattan, we’re not talking about the Chinese district in San Francisco, we’re talking about High Ridge. For Chinese food out here in the boondocks, China Wok is tremendous. Their Crab Rangoon is sweet, their hot and sour soup is delicious, their dumplings are plump, their plum sauce rocks, and everything else I’ve had on the menu is A-plus. Is the restaurant decorated and appointed like a five-star restaurant in Bern, Switzerland? No, it’s not. It looks exactly the way you might imagine a Chinese restaurant looks like in High Ridge, Missouri. The help is authentic Chinese with about 70% English language skills. They’re a little hard to understand sometimes but please don’t confuse talking fast and abruptly with being rude. The service wait is not long and you can watch them prepare the food from the front counter. The kitchen, the floors, the tables, and the surroundings are clean. If this place were located anywhere else in the St. Louis area, I would eat here. The fact that it’s located within five miles of my house in High Ridge is nothing short of a miracle. Come in, you won’t be disappointed.

Only 1 small complaint, Special fried Rice should have more shrimp, but is very good!
