El Nopal Mexican Restaurant 4

Great food. Reasonable prices. Eat in the bar and you can smoke in there. Huge plus for me as a smoker. Main restaurant is non smoking.

This restaurant is very convenient a truck driver staying next door truck stop.
The carne Asada was good , the price is affordable. The restaurant is nice, and each table and chairs are a piece of Mexican art.

The food was very good and authentic, especially considering the location (northern Missouri). I had the Supreme enchiladas which is 4 enchiladas (ground beef, bean, chicken, cheese) with extra sour cream, plus a blueberry Margarita (excellent). The chips and salsa were OK. I've had better, but I've had worse. The only downside was the service. It was very indifferent. Not very good, but not really bad. I'll likely be back if I'm in the area.

Excellent tacos especially the Al Pastor. They offer two options - authentic with cilantro and onions or American-ized with shredded cheese. I like the authentic style. The El Nopal burrito is gigantic and very delicious! Service was quick and extremely attentive. Marisol took great care of us. I highly recommend!
