We had my mother's 80th birthday at JJ's Copper Pot. The meals were excellent and the service was awesome.
It was very nice. But VERY Expensive. I enjoyed my meal. Hubs did not. He kept saying. They buriedy chicken in my mashed potatoes. He just kept thinking about me & I don't really like my food to touch!
It was elegant, had a wonderful atmosphere, dim lights, class...but still managed to be comfortable and casual. We ended up sitting at the bar to eat, and Charlotte, the bartender/our waitress not only kept us in food and drinks, but provided wonderful conversation. My husband and I have decided this is our official go-to date night spot.
First time visit. I was very impressed with the menu and the items my party and I ordered. I had the prime rib and it was one of the best I have had. My counterpart ordered the fried lobster tail. She loved it and yes I tried it and loved it too. Prior to the main entree we ordered the calamari. It was served as a filet and not like you normally see it in a restaurant setting. It too was top notch quality.
One unique piece to this restaurant is their progressive menu. They have an entire section of the menu that they change every three months. This part of the menu is not listed on their website but it has a very broad selection in it. I would have loved to try several on that menu but it will be retired over the next week and a new menu will be added on the progressive side. The main menu does not change and that is what you will find on the website.
I highly recommend this establishment and will be back again soon. The wait staff was very professional and very attentive. The pricing is in line with the quality but be prepared to pay for your top notch experience.
If I had never been here before, they deserve five stars for sure. I used to go here before they changed the menu all around and I liked it better then but it’s definitely not bad now.
I would for sure encourage people to try out their “new” menu.
The are still the same clean atmosphere. Same friendly service. Fairly similar pricing. Really it’s just a different menu.
I ordered the shrimp/scallops fish and my husband ordered the lamb. We both liked our meals. Had the chocolate lovers delight for desert. Also had the Chocolatier desert.
I love that this place has partnered with other local small businesses. I think that looks great on supporting your community.
We will be back for sure.
