Lemaire's Cajun Catfish & Seafood House

Its ok, not Frenchy quality food, waitresses have always been allowed to be dry and a little rude. Not always clean.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly and hot! The atmosphere was nice and not too loud so you could enjoy a conversation.

I have to admit that this was the first time I was initially disappointed with my meal when it came out. I always get the alligator meal which is always delicious and usually has a very healthy helping of everything on the plate. This time it was VERY meager portions and extremely disappointing UNTIL our waitress Carrie swooped in and said, "This doesn't look right." She went to the kitchen and fixed my order immediately. The meal turned out great and was delicious thanks to our waitress.

To the kitchen staff I only have this one message: Stop trying to cheat your customers!! That's not what Lemaire's is know for. However, if you continue to pull what you tried with me, Lemaire's WILL become known for that and people will stop coming. Honestly, that would be a real shame.

Great experience and good food! We really like the atmosphere here. No blaring music and no lowering ceiling painted black. Enough about the decor.
Excellent food. We tried the coconut shrimp and another in our party got a fried fish. Both were very good. The wait staff are friendly and had plenty of helpful tips to Midwesterners that aren't quite up to speed on Cajun cuisine. Definitely recommending this place to friends.
