Neat little Ozark white trash restaurant. Service was great. Good comfort food for the money with big portions. Friendly staff.
Great little place for breakfast. I really liked the decorations and the atmosphere. The price was very reasonable too.
This restaurant is the essence of the Midwest. It's homestyle chicken, fried almost exactly the way my Missouri born great grandmother once made it. They have local live music in the form of bluegrass musicians coming in on some Tuesdays every month. Not satisfied with your Midwestern off-the-interstate experience yet? Head on over to the attached gas station and convenience store. Buy yourself some local liquors and wine, all from local breweries and vineyards. Still not happy? Buy a blow dart gun, why not? While you're at it, pick up some of the local seasonings and canned goods they keep in stock. This stop is a staple of the local community. You'll know when you're in the right place, there's a giant chicken El Camino out front. And where else would a local fried chicken restaurant be tied to a Phillips 66 station and still have some great food?
Wait staff is super friendly and very attentive. I have really liked everything I've ordered, even the coffee. And I have been enough times to have tried most of the sandwiches, salads (big enough to fill you up), but can't speak on the dinner items as I usually go for lunch. DO NOT SKIP THE FRIED PICKLES!
