Service is a little slow, they are right by gate 57. I ordered two of their most popular dishes. Crown Nachos and Chop chop salad. And a beer.
Service is great, but sparse.
If you’re taking the elevator, good luck figuring out what button to push to get to the Top of the Crown. I only ordered toast, it was fine. Nothing special. The coffee was better than a Keurig, but also nothing to write home about.
There are not many options in the gate area. If you’re hungry, this will do.
Very friendly staff. Important to mention that the people working here are great. Other than that... institutional precooked food mostly, but it's the only restaurant option. Usually out of simple stuff like salad or salad dressing (terminal-wide actually). Drinks... Well, nice to be able to have em, but expect convenience pricing as this is your only option... Not horrible though.
Early flight? Good luck knowing if they're opened or closed in the morning ... it's hit or miss. Some mornings all set and staffed... Other mornings, no one arrived to open the place even over an hour after they should have opened (I like to arrive to the airport earlier than I need to). Considering they're the only restaurant in the terminal you're think they'd jump on the opportunity to open on time with their captive audience.
Anyway, it's ok. It's food. It's drinks. The staff is the redeeming factor.
I was warned about the airport amenities and how small it is. They pointed me to the Boulevard but by the time I arrived, their kitchen had closed and bar was only open. Headed upstairs to Top of the Crown Grill where there was no seating available. For the space they have, theyre definitely maximizing.
One server was on the shift. Sweet and efficient.
I ordered the nachos and it was basically stadium food. Chicken was warmed up but the center had some cold spots. Edible but be careful.
