The food is good. The selection of dishes offers a little something for everyone. My only reservation at giving a higher rating comes from the service. The hostess that I've seen most often is slow and very slow to engage with customers. She leaves customers standing at the podium while she runs back and forth to the bar, doing who knows what. The wait staff treat you as an inconvenience. I've had two different waiters that acted as if I were annoying for asking to order or for asking for my check. I've waited tables, in a Mexican restaurant, before. I would have been fired for their lack of enthusiasm, friendliness, and basic service skills.

I really like their food. They really are the best option I have in my area. I just wish the service didn't out such a damper on the experience. They could be the best restaurant in the Northland, but their staff are holding them back.

I always enjoy authentic food. I've been there twice. The first time was for my daughter's birthday and was 4 minutes passed closing. I explained my situation and the manager agreed to stay open to serve us for the occasion. Great service and Great people. The enchiladas are amazing. Also steak is great too. Even though I'm from Arkansas, this will be a place I stop at while in town.

Food was good but nothing you can't get 100 other places in KC. Lots of regulars at the bar so dont plan on sitting there on a Saturday night. Atmosphere is nice and staff did a good job helping each other out. One would fill waters or drinks for like 4 tables and the other would be freshening up our salsa ,chips or napkins. The team work was refreshing.
