Very disappointing tonight. Knowing it was Valentine's we decided to go early. We arrived about 430. We got our drink orders in and things started collapsing. Our drinks came in reasonable time. My beer and my wife's cocktail were then allowed to run empty while we were wondering about our food. The waiter came and expressed that many of the kitchen staff were late coming in due to valentines day and our food would be out quickly. After receiving our second round of drinks, the waiter came over to advise the manager had just told him that our son's pizza was dropped and they were making a fresh one. Once our food came out the pizza was hot and my wife and I's food were a little better than warm but not hot. The manager came over after we received our check and advised he had taken care of mine and my wife's first drink. The gesture was somewhat redeeming. If they were busy, I would give more leeway. One issue in itself would have been okay. The multiple failures prior to a rush beginning are not as acceptable. Previous visits have been great, I really hope this was just a one time collision of issues. We will be back to try again.

I've been here twice and the food was good and service was friendly but SLOW! Every beer we wanted to try on tap was out....like seven of them. They did say they were in the process of switching beers out so maybe we just visited in the wrong day. I plan on trying again because they are a newer establishment and maybe they're still working on getting the bugs out.

For starters, it took a while to get a waitress to the table. That seriously starts the meal off on a bad note. Server was pleasant and friendly when she did end up coming over. We ordered the spicy pickles for an appetizer. I’m no Gordon Ramsey but these pickles need something. Bland breading and cut too thick. I got a side salad that was coated, I’m talking blanketed with carrots. It would have been edible but the ranch....I had asked if their ranch was made in house, she stated it was so we were thrilled. (Ranch is our thing) so we were not so thrilled when we got ranch that tasted like it was missing the main ingredient. It didn’t taste like ranch or anything for that matter. I hoping their ranch chef was off, and this was a mistake by the fill in for the day because it was BAD. You shouldn’t be serving that to customers on a daily basis. We also dip our pizza in ranch so we weren’t looking forward to that. We got the thick crust pepperoni , and it saved the entire meal for us. It didn’t need ranch, and was fantastic. Up until that point, everything was less than impressive. Still debating on if we would go back.

It's pizza, what else do you need!! But seriously I found the service to be fast, the staff to be attentive but not obnoxious and the pizza delicious. I'll definitely be back when in KC again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great pizza at a good price.

Old Chicago is always a great time. This location is a little unique in that it is inside a hotel! It has the Deep Dish pizza which the majority of the other locations in the area do not offer. I highly recommend trying it out!
