    Nice atmosphere. Very nice people who work there. They do a lot of to go orders. Food was good.

    Best home cooked German food we’ve had in years. We had schnitzel sandwich, and German potato salad. We will be back again soon. Great service, clean restaurant.

    Tucked away one block north (308 feet) of historic #Route66 in downtown Waynesville. Ursula’s Schnitzelhaus does not receive the recognition it deserves. Authentic German 🇩🇪 food served up by a genuine family with a quirkiness that will endear them as characters on the Mother Road. This family has been feeding Waynesville for over 30 years. Their schnitzel sandwich 🥪 was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. I happily took the to-go imported Original Oktoberfest beer advice and was not disappointed.     Wow, what a treasure find! We enjoyed the traditional German sausages and goulash. Another table nearby was very pleased with the schnitzel. Cozy atmosphere, family owned and staffed. So pleasant!!
