    I came in a little late on Sunday to eat lunch after having a bad experience at the Rustic Oak Tavern in Perry, they reopened the kitchen for us, the customer service and the food was great. We will be back. This is a restaurant that looks like they have live bands every once in awhile based on their setup. They had really nice outdoor seating and inside it's half restaurant half nick-nack store with cute things to get the kids.

    Driving from New Florence MO on the way home, we decided to take a detour past Mark Twain Lake and happened upon this great place. Breakfast was great but the conversation with the owners was even better. Because of them, we are planning a trip to the lake with our camper.
