Nelly'S-Someplace Else

Went here after a funeral at the military cemetery. Had the lunch buffet. Ok, but nothing amazing. Staff was great.

Great home cooked food on the buffet and made to order. And their pies, yummy!

Nelly's has a dinner buffet nightly, so after checking out the few pieces of tired looking chicken and "unlicious" looking beef and noodles we decided to eat off the menu. I ordered French dip and French fries. My partner ordered a catfish sandwiches and onion rings. The onion rings were delicately coated and crispy but they had been held too long in the kitchen so they were almost cold. His catfish was of good size and hung over the bun. I tasted it but as I dislike fish immensely all I can say is, it tasted like fish. The French dip was prime rib covered with a slice of Swiss cheese to hold on to the meat when you dip it in the broth. So after tasting the sandwich with and without the broth I realized the dip was a tad sweet which I didn't care for, so I just ate it plain. The crispy fries kinda made up for the sweetness though and the service was great, especially the older lady working the floor.

Very friendly, helpful great staff. We always have our Mills family Christmas party and birthday parties here. They have a great buffet we usually get, but also a menu. Wonderful fried chicken, shrimp other meat and vegetables choices. Salad and dessert bars. I can't say enough about the good food. Very reasonable price. Nice clean private rooms. Our server is always on top of anything we need. Its a unanimous vote in the whole family....Go to Nelly's!

Food like you would expect Grandma to make. The service is always friendly and happy to see you. The price is actually lower than one might expect from a sit down restaurant. Be sure to leave room for dessert.
