Exceptional barbaco and quesabirria tacos! Hidden gem, hope the locals appreciate it. Will return.

Wonderful restaurant and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. I had the Quesabirria. They were amazing, not dried out like others I've tried, and served with lime and grilled onions. The au jus was packed with flavor. I honestly could have had a big bowl of that. The horchata was large and tasty.
I look forward to trying the pozole, but have the feeling I won't be disappointed..

I tried the posole, and.....IT WAS AMAZING. Done right. Cabbage, radishes, lime, and new for me, a spicy mango salsa. The broth was deep and Rick without being greasy.
I also tried the lengua torta. The lengua was perfectly cooked and tender. The flavor was amazing and reminds me of butcher season growing up.
If you want authentic, here you go. But they still offer the stereotype of generic Mexican food.

Being a southern Californian native, I know what authentic Mexican food is. This is it! I can go on and on, have had 4 different menu items now, it just is simply the best

Love this lil home town taco joint. It’s not a full course Mexican menu but it’s a truly authentic Mexican style. Tacos,burritos,find what you like and it’s usually good. Small but fast and friendly staff.
