Best burger in town!! Definitely a hidden gem. Great food and wonderful service 5 stars for me!!

What a surprise this place was. Tucked out of the way in a neighborhood, the restaurant sits on a corner, very reminiscent of the hill. The food!! I was with a table of four and we had: Crappie, Filet, Pork chop, and Liver and Onions. Most will cringe at the thought of liver and onions but if you like it, this is the place. The crappie was to die for, the pork chop and filet were all moist, tender, and delicious. We will definitely be back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We found it a few weekends ago. We pass by the place all the time (the outside does not do it justice!) and we finally stopped in. THE FOOD IS CRAZY GOOD! I could go on and on about how tasty it is, about how full I am when I leave, but the best part about this place is the staff. The lady who bartended/waited on us was absolutely a treat! She was warm and friendly, told us about how this is the second oldest bar in St. Charles, gave some history on the place and told us about how awesome it is to work for the owners. She was just lovely. We came back the following weekend with our kids and she was so sweet to them and her suggestions for food to try was spot on. We will be back. Lots of times. (The crappie was amazing, get a vanilla porter to go with it!)

Great little bar/restaurant ! The owner and her family are some of the best people you will ever meet. Down to earth genuine and well run. Food great, beer is cold .
