Went there for my 23rd birthday dinner. Everything was amazing from the food, alcohol, atmosphere, and the service. I highly reccomend this place to everybody looking to try something new

I've very happy a place like this opened on Main Street.

Food was 3.5 stars. The beef satay was good. The scallop spring roll had maple syrup as the dipping sauce. It was mediocre. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. The tuna pole was disappointing and flavorless.

The cocktails were pretty good. The beer was cold. House wine was good too.

Service was pretty good. Our waitress wasn't quite as attentive as I would have liked considering only three other tables were filled when we dined.

Loved the atmosphere and decor. Super cool place to dine aesthetically.

Can't say enough good things about this place! We placed a reservation for my birthday and when we arrived we realized they had put us in the private room! I am also gluten free and the owner himself came out to talk about what was already gluten free on the menu and what could be made gluten free. The waitress was phenomenal and patient while we decided what to order. The bartender even came in to fill our water at one point! And on top of that the food was amazing! We will be back for sure! thank you all for making my birthday evening special!

Novellas is a great new restaurant to Main Street. We have been there for both for lunch and dinner. The cocktails are wonderful and well made. My husband had the Blood and Sand cocktail which is a speciality cocktail that they finish at the table. Quite cool! Novellus offers a small plate menu and there is a good variety. We loved the scallop spring rolls, the wedge salad and the tempera shrimp. We tried the avocado poke bowl and did not think it had much flavor. The restaurant interior is very relaxing and we will be back!

What a hidden gem in the heart of Main St. St. Charles. Went for dinner with my wife and what a great experience! Started off with the Blood and Sand cocktail and it was like a show with my drink. Excellent! The atmosphere is very relaxed and has all the high quality feel without the high prices. Great good and service. Highly recommend. Thanks for everything Joe and Jo!
