Great restaurant. In all the years we have had dinner there we never had a bad experience. Pizza, with provolone if you don’t ask for mozzarella, Italian cuisine, steaks, seafood, good appetizers, really good cannoli (?.) Pete usually makes the rounds and sees how you’re doing. Glad he came here from North County all those years ago.

Friends suggested this restaurant and we're glad that they did because we had a great time here. It was packed when we got there but the service was fast enough, friendly enough, & helpful enough that we were pleased with it. And all 4 of us really enjoyed our meals so we'll definitely come back.

I can not say enough about this place. First started going there over 20 years ago when we lived in town. We were back for the 4th of July weekend and let me tell you, St. Louis has some great Italian restaurants throughout the city. The hill gets all of the fame, but there are many others. Erio's is one of the best. It has changed hands, but the new owners were former employees and the food hasn't changed a bit. The challenge is to order something other than meatballs, because the meatballs are the best you are ever going to have. We were in town for 3 days, and if it had been up to me, we would have eaten here every night. If you are in town, you owe it to yourself to try this place, and it doesn't cost anywhere near what some of those other places will run you. Definitely a keeper.
