KiTARO Bistro of Japan

We ate at the hibachi side of the restaurant. The service was friendly and the sides start arriving immediately, so you never sit around waiting. Special mention should be made of the salad, which had a delicious creamy dressing. I have no idea what it was, but it was good.
Our chef was very skilled, doing all the fun tricks and silly jokes you expect from the experience. The food was plentiful. Nobody was able to finish their portion, because there's so much. I got a combo, teriyaki chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak was cooked to order, and came out tender and juicy. All of the food was delicious and well prepared. I would definitely go again.

We enjoy celebrating birthdays here. The hibachi is a fun experience and the cooks are entertaining. Only downfall is that it’s pretty loud.

Food is alright. It's pretty expensive. It seems like this would be the premier asian food restaurant in the area. But the quality just wasn't there. I've had better Sushi in places like Chesterfield with less of a price point. Staff is friendly and the place is fun to be in with its atmosphere. Hibachi is very tasty and always a nice treat. In that respect the prices are good.

The food was okay. Enjoy the day chef and how he made the food. But I ate other Japanese food that better a lot cheaper.
