El Tapatio of Farmington

My favorite Mexican restaurant for the last 12 years, good food, great atmosphere, always treated like family at all locations. Thanks for the great experiences.

The food is seasoned perfectly. It's hot and delicious. A large variety to choose from. Friendly helpful staff.

I always enjoy El Tapatio. This visit was no exception. Not a five star visit because we waited quite some time to be seated and also for our server to take our drink order. This was during the after church lunch rush on a Sunday, so it's forgivable to a point. However, after church lunch rushes can be predicted and the front of the house can be staffed accordingly. Overall a 4 star visit as the food was hot, tasty and arrived quickly.

I’m only giving 4 stars because we’re loyal customers and we enjoy the food. However, the service tonight was awful. Our waitress was trying way too hard to be nice. Blonde short hair with bangs, not sure what her name was. She took a while to take our drink and food order, but that’s okay, things happen. One member of our party had beans added to her dish, without her asking for them. She couldn’t eat the dish after. If you accidentally add something to a dish, you remake it, you don’t bring it out to the table and act like you did us a favor by adding it. I asked for a to go box and the waitress placed it on my head before giving it to me. Our family prefers to have its meals without randomly being touched by strangers. We understand she was trying to be nice, but that was really rude, and really weird.
