Service can be a bit slow, but what else do you have to do?
The food is absolutely awesome here.
I love the Tacos with the Fire Roasted Potatoes and Street Corn... It really is good.

We frequently drive all the way up there from Fredericktown.
Not bad prices either..

We stopped on our back to Illinois from Johnson's Shut-ins. This place was great! Really impressive Cajun food! Great service! The portions are generous! Highly recommend!

I've been to New Orleans, and while these dishes can't compete with their French Quarter counterparts, they are very good and priced accordingly.

The Mine House serves it's own brew which I recommend, although my palate for beer isn't refined, I enjoy it.

Two pool tables and a dart board are welcome additions to Main Street, along with the asthetically pleasing interior. Gorgeous bar and ceiling.

Somewhat small capacity for a bar and grill, but that won't stop you from enjoying it.

This is not bar food. The dinner I ate was absolutely delicious. They have a New Orleans twist on their food and it is really good. Great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, pool tables, and darts. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a kids menu with really great options. Totally worth the detour!
