Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill

My sister, brother in law and I went here to eat after their celebration of union and everyone was really nice and showed so much love. Plus, the food was awesome. They really enjoyed themselves and were happy that they made the decision to go here to eat.

One of my favorite eateries is J Alexander's and when I saw that Stoney River was associated with them I just had to try it. Family was there at opening (11am) for brunch. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Perfect eggs. My only regret was not trying their waffles. Service was excellent.

Now usually when I do one of these surveys I try to say something good and something bad. But at the moment I can't think of anything bad. I know...maybe a bigger menu. I can't remember if they had seafood or not. No big deal but that excellent hollandaise sauce would go great on a poached salmon.

My Husband and I have wanted to visit for years and finally had a chance to. The prime rib, ribeye and lobster bisque are delicious!! We also tried their whiskey shrimp and were not disappointed. We will absolutely be back soon!

I had cup of lobster bisque with the Blue Ridge salad; he had house salad and a burger with fries. Salads were fresh and BIG. Burger was cooked to order. Loved the bisque. Even though we arrived close to closing, staff was cordial and attentive. This place is pricy but well worth it.

Service was excellent! Waitress was personable. Steak was worth the money! Free dessert for our anniversary! Romantic theme and feel! Need I say more?!
