Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

Great food and service. The patio is beautifully landscaped. The wet burrito is great. Best chips and salsa in town. My favorite place to eat. I have been eating here for 40+ years, and I don't recall a bad experience.

Food is great. The building is very interesting. Apparently the second property ever registered in St Louis County. The menu is a bit conservative. I guess that makes you better at what is on the menu. I would recommend it to everyone.

Great view and atmosphere. The hostess was sooo polite and sweet said the patio is self seating, one of the two bar tenders would come over and told me where the bathroom was after I told her we had never been here before. Waited over ten minutes for service after standing at the bar it's self for half that. Only to hear the bartender harp at another bar tender over the spelling of a name. And cussing at the hostess. He told her if we expect service we need to come to the bar. Where I was standing and told him "I'm right here" to which he responded by throwing his hands in the air and telling me " that's nice!" So we left will never be back. If he can't handle a Friday night, the other bartender was fine, ran into a manager before this incident she stopped me to tell me she liked my shirt. She was fine the hostess was fine. Hire people who know how and when to ask for help. Or with better availability.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with my family on our way out of town. Santiago was our server and he did an outstanding job. The food arrived quickly and the chips they brought to the table are the best tortilla chips I've had! Usually don't write reviews but the service really was top notch, and the Manager (a Mexican woman) even stopped by to check on us and refill our drinks. Thank you!!!
