Denny's

My husband and I dropped by for a meal. We waited longer than usual for the lone waitress/ cashier to get us a menu. She was pleasant despite her wearing several hats. She finally took our order. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed 3 other couples came in. By this time another waitress came on the floor, so she was the only one. Sad to say. She was pleasant but clearly NEEDED assistance. While we were eating, one couple left who had been waiting MORE than the normal wait. Then another couple with a small baby finally got up and left. Then, a third party left. I truly Understand. The wait was ridiculously long. My husband were off today, so we had no place to be. However, the other people looked like they were in work attire. They don't have all day to be waited on. On the service side,the food was delicious. The bathrooms were atrocious. My husband had to go to three different tables looking for ketchup. All the bottles were on the table but they were EMPTY. Same for our pepper shaker.The Manager, I assume, was running around doing what he could, but obviously was clearly UNDERSTAFFED. I counted the staff I saw. I saw only 4. Missy was the waitress/cashier, 1 other waitress the cook and Manager. I am not trying to black ball the store, I am just stating the facts. They need workers or have someone else do the Schedule.

Got the running special and we went on a day when Denny's only had 1server & the cook needed help in the back too!! Debra still gave good service we all understood tht frustration & the other teammates were still calling in...the rain kept them in the house, go figure! Our food was just as we ordered, hot, fresh, & yummy! Eventually more help came for Debra and she knows her regulars!! It was good company & service!!

It was a decent meal, I asked for no cheese and got cheese, my friend asked for extra cheese and they had to bring her a bowl of shredded cheese to put in her omelet.

They had 1 waitress on a busy Saturday, as we walked in they told us it would be a 20 minute wait for our food, which it pretty much was, but we were talking so didn't seem that long.

Checking out there was almost a line out the door, many people left upset because of being told a 20 minute wait for food.

Waitress was wonderful. My son has an mental disability and she was so good to him. Love her for being who she is. A caring and kind young lady!
