Steak 'n Shake

The manager of this place is amazing!
He is always nice, and always treats people well.
I hope every customer treats him with the same respect that he shows to others.
..... unfortunately the chicks at the window are really rude 4/5 times. I had to pick up my 83 cents off of the gum coated pavement just now, and she didn’t say one single word to me other than my total.
As someone who had to deal with unruly customers in a food place for years of my life, I make it my personal job to make sure people working are treated with respect and dignity...
I’d like the same in return.
And I’m not saying everyone who works there is rude. Absolutely not saying that. Just have had bad expierences lately.

Never been to a steak n shake before. Shakes are great! Prices are really good on entire menu. Nice diner feel.

In line at 2:45 AM after Nick’s Pub looking for a quick fix for food. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to receiving the food and when we got it we sampled the fries. Not sure of the staff working the 6/23/2019 overnight shift but they deserve a raise...best food from ANY S&S location I’ve had the pleasure of tasting in years! The fries were crispy, perfectly salted, and hot like they were made to order. A short drive home later I dug into my #29 (triple stack with cheese added) and it was on another level. For a late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, this is food that is unbelievably delicious. I coupled the decadent fries and burger with an Oreo shake and it kept up the standard without any qualms. Overall, an absolutely delicious meal that I feel privileged to indulge in at 3AM...should honestly be illegal. Hope the staff working this shift receives legitimate recognition because a very high bar has been set for any other Steak n Shake dining experience!

3 children 2 adults greeted with warm smiles & welcoming! Food came in a good amount of time & tasted great! Very slow on milkshakes but they had got very busy since we first came. However, lunch was done by the time they came.
