Chuck's Hot Chicken

This place is great. The chicken sandwich is delicious and the fries are perfectly crispy. The first time I went here I got a level 2 sandwich. It wasn't spicy, just really flavorful and would be great for anyone even if they don't like spicy food. Today I got the level 3, and it had a kick. You don't feel it at first but it builds up over time. Have also tried the level 4 chicken tenders. Now that is extremely spicy. This is the level where you start to actually feel discomfort and need to down several glasses of water. All in all a very good lunch time spot, it's filling, it's flavorful, and the order/pick-up process is simple.

Fantastic chicken, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the level 3 as I'm a big fan of spicy food but also cautious. Even L3 is for real hot, it'll clear out your sinuses and make your tongue happy. I'll be putting this in the take out rotation for sure.

Where do you start... Had this place catered for a party and it was the exact same as when I picked it up at the counter. Flawless chicken sandwich as well as the best I've had to this date. Pickle lovers will be extremely satisfied with their pickles. Chicken is juicy and tender with the bun being the icing on the cake. Will be back. Already have been.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. First off, that thing is massive! It will definitely fill you up. I got the Level 3, and it was plenty spicy, but I’ll probably put on my big boy pants next time and brave the Level 5. I recommend adding the slaw. It balances the heat a bit and adds even more flavor. Worth the trip wherever you live or work. There’s nothing else like it in STL. Oh, and I also recommend the cheese curds (ask for Chuck sauce for dipping) as a side dish.

Super easy to order and pay online and the pickup window makes it just as easy to get your food. And this food, you want to get. I got the medium hot chicken sandwich and fries. Everything, and I mean everything, was awesome. The chicken is quite generous and the sauce was delicious and spot-on heat-wise but not messy. Super fluffy bun stays together to the last bite which is usually hard to do with a sandwich like this when you pile on the bleu cheese. The fries were excellent. I don't think I've ever had such crispy, crunchy, and tasty fries! I had zero grease on my fingers and didn't see any in the bottom of the container. The perfect fry to me. You may want to order extra pickles. They give a full cup but I was sad when mine were gone. Big kudos on the packaging, too. Everything fit snug without being squished and the vented container kept the food from turning into a steamy mess. Definitely a great takeout place that I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
