Steak 'n Shake

Food tasted okay. Our server was slow and couldn't multitask which is why only 3 stars. She sat herself another table then walked by them 3 times and never said a word to them, so they got up and left. We did get to try a sample of a new fall shake which is something that was never done before.

Came in today and the service was absolutely amazing m. Good was nice and hot when coming to our table. And the food arrived quickly. Our waiter Darian was also amazing. He was so nice, attentive, and very sweet. I will be coming back again and hope to see him here!!!

Excellent food, friendly service, food came out fast but my shake was slow. Everything was delicious but there was a huge water stain on the ceiling tile above us and the floors and bathrooms were extremely dirty. If the restaurant was clean we would have given 5 stars!

This location is very recently reopened after Steak 'n Shake restructured its operations in the St Louis area.

First the positives. We were greeted and seated promptly. The food was fresh and well prepared. There is plenty of parking, and easy wheelchair access. The wait staff was friendly, and the manager attentive.

However, being newly reopened, one definitely got the impression that the staff was still "learning the ropes". Service was slow, and the food, though properly prepared, took a while to be ready.

I reccomend that for the near future you either eat early or late, and avoid the crowd at main meal time. The staff is not yet ready to handle the load.
