We loved the place. We paid $43 for the two of us but we took home just as much as we ate. We ordered their smallest combo and they said it would feed two to three people. We got it with mild spice and garlic sauce. We aren't big eaters but I stuffed myself and we had all the leftovers. The only disappointment was the toast that my Wife ordered as a side. We will be back and I highly recommend this place for everyone.
First time at a Mad Crab and it was a great experience. We shared a basket of King Crab and Shrimp 1 lb each, plus potatoes and corn on the cob and we choose Roasted Garlic. The flavor was phenomenal a rich buttery garlic flavor, crab was cooked perfectly as well.as the shrimp. The enterior of the restaurant was very seaside and restrooms were clean. Our server was a very pleasant young lady, she was in training but you would have thought she had been there forever. She was knowledgeable as far as the menu goes and very friendly. We will go back when back in town.
Really good King Crab, but I wasn't prepared for the Market Rate pricing. Check before you order as it can be pricey. Simple, straightforward Crab place where everyone eats with their hands. Don't be afraid to make a mess - they are prepared, supplying tablecloth, bib and gloves in addition to implements. I'll be back for the crawdads or lobster tails another day. Good service, lots of food.
The food took a minute or two, but considering we were part of a large birthday group, it was understandable. Everyone had an enjoyable time and the service was fine (very friendly staff). The meal was OK, but I think I was expecting something "better" (for the price). Still, I would recommend this location for a Sunday afternoon experience.
My husband and I went to The Mad Crab today. I had the shrimp and fries, my husband had lobster tail, beef sausage and boiled potatoes. We also had an appetizer of fried oysters. Everything was very tasty - the oysters were a bit salty for our taste but still enjoyable. We will go back! The service was great! The manager came over to make sure our needs were being met.
