Bar Louie - Central West End

Went for burger week. Food was good, but waitress never showed back up after ordering. Someone brought meal out, someone else cleared plate, yet a different lady brought bill. Wth? Two tables in the place and you couldn't even attend one table? Lucky I didn't go 3 stars.

A fave spot in the Central West End with a great happy hour and tasty eats. The outdoor seating along the sidewalk is prime for people-watching in the summer while sipping a $5 martini (Funky Monkey is a winner!) & noshing on happy hour flatbreads. If you're an even somewhat frequent visitor, make sure to download the Bar Louie app for rewards points that will lead to free food!!

4-star rating only because they're consistently under-staffed which can impact their quality of service. But its not a huge deal when you're with friends and just enjoying time together, especially after the workday.

As you can see from the photos, this restaurant wasn't very busy at 3 p.m. on a Friday. However, don't allow that to deter you from visiting it! The reason why I took the pictures was to show you that it's quite a fine establishment. If you've never been here, I think you would enjoy the decor on the interior. Plus, they have outside, patio seating as well.

I was actually here on a date and my date was heading to work shortly thereafter. Because of this, no food was ordered. As a result, I only had a flavored lemonade. If I recall, it was a strawberry lemonade to be exact. The server even gave me a free refill, and didn't even charge for that! For me, that's top, quality service! Overall, I enjoyed my time here (even though it was a very short experience). I'll be sure to go back and visit this place sometime in the near future. If you've never gone, you should absolutely go!
