This is just what we need in the neighborhood. Had awesome lunch today. They offer daily special plus other great options. Breakfast, lunch and evening coffee and dessert. Quaint hip vibe.
A great new addition to the neighborhood! Menu is unique and I can't wait to go back to try more things (why aren't there more Korean restaurants in South City??). Food is tasty and fresh, portion sizes and prices are reasonable, owners are friendly and welcoming. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert!
I was excited to try the new Korean restaurant in our neighborhood. I haven't eaten nearly enough Korean dishes in my life and I'm determined to change that.
I came in around 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Two other tables arrived around the same time. I ordered the Donkatsu (pork battered and fried, and served with a light gravy, fresh cabbage shreds, and corn), as well as a green tea.
It did take a while to get my drink (my entree arrived first), and there was some confusion about where my Donkatsu was going (it was first taken to another table), but this is a new business with a small staff and they got extremely busy out of nowhere, so I'm going to give them grace and another chance.
When I had my entree and my drink, I tried the katsu and was in love. So tasty. Honestly it was huge but part of me wished it was even bigger. 😅 The cabbage and corn were unusual sides for me, but went nicely with the fried food. The green tea was delicious refreshing, and a member of the staff came out and checked on me and the others as we ate.
I'm excited to try more of their dishes in the future and already telling local friends to go check them out.
Been there couple of times. The first KOREAN dessert place in the city. We had a bingsu and other dessert items. Highly recommended.
New dessert cafe on Hampton Ave! Croffle and okonomi toast were the bomb. Highly recommend!
