What a nice way to revive the city. Great place for lunches. Food is on a pricey side. I has jerk chicken plate ($17) from Chez Ali. It tasted good. My family likes to go Here once in a while to have fun. Will be back again.
Great place to go with a group because there is something for everyone. Really neat industrial atmosphere. My husband found all of the old remnants from the factory to be fascinating. There was tons of seating as you pick and choose different places to eat. We had Asian and Mexican fusion tacos, a crispy chicken sandwich and two different kinds of specialty waffles. It was all delicious. We grabbed some Patty's cheesecakes on our way out. We went on a Friday evening and there was live music. Plenty of space for wheelchair and stroller accessibility. Family friendly as we saw lots of highchairs too.
Great use of indoor and outdoor space. Since more eateries have been added, there should be something for all palates. Both covered and outdoor parking. Perfect place for families and dates. Although the retail spaces are not all filled, there is enough to keep you interested on a walk.
Great place! Great food options! My only complaint is that most places didn't seem to have enough workers, and there was either a long line or it took a long time to get the food or both. The wait wasn't ridiculously long, but still got sick of standing around. Could be beneficial if each restaurant had a text system to notify you that your food is ready. Neat atmosphere though.
My lady and I went there one Sunday to check out the place and have brunch. We had chicken and waffles, which were quite good. The food court has several options on the first floor, some of which we will sample when we go back. My wife found jewelry at a store named Vibeszn. She liked it a great deal. She loved the incense she picked up at Golden Gems.
Finally the Grocery Store, Fresh Thyme, is worth a trip. Basic grocery items are available, several at good prices. These stores made going to the Foundry a worthwhile experience.
